For the second time, Soul Kinda Wonderful have been successful in coming first, out of the entirety of the UK in the National UK Tribute Music Awards (NTA) within their category. The prestigious biennial awards ceremony for tribute acts is held in Leicester Athena in the heart of the midlands every few years, and always receives an immense amount of attention from the entertainment industry, especially with the main sponsor very fittingly being The Entertainment Agents’ Association (GB). The Gala like award ceremony will be held on the 29th of June, at which Soul Kinda Wonderful along with a select few other winners will perform to the lucky crowd.
Soul Kinda Wonderful previously won at the NTA in 2013 when they were voted the official number one show, and have continued to go from strength to strength since. They have recently release the first of their own original music, with their debut track The Clock Strikes Thirteen released on the 29th of April and it is already gaining a lot of attention. Their soulful sound, so perfect for their covers of Ben E King, The Drifters and Motown, has clearly stuck a cord with modern audiences, and is channeled perfectly through their new track.
